The Floresville Event Center is accepting applications for concession/bar staff (contract work). Applicants must be 21 years of age; must be able to stand for long periods of time; be able to bend stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds; outgoing personality, positive attitude and strong communication skills; sound judgment and solid leadership skills and experience. Must be TABC certified or be willing to take certification class/training. Must be punctual and reliable attendance, honest and integrity. Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays; work is intermittent and scheduled based on events. Human Resources staff manages all aspects of recruitment, compensation, benefits, and training for the city’s workforce. This includes processing applications and new hires, development and management of the city’s benefits program, salary surveys and compensation plan design, and identification and implementation of needed training programs. Human Resources is also responsible for policy development, implementation, and the management of all property and casualty insurance.
