Building Permit Fees

Permit fee charged to build a new building, to add on to an existing building, to remodel, or to alter an existing building, whether residential or commercial, shall be based on the declared valuation of the proposed work. Permit fees based upon such valuation shall be set forth as contained in the following table:

Valuation of $1,000 to $15,000: $100.00

Valuation of $15,001 to $25,000: $100.00 for the first $15,000 plus $14.00 for each additional $1,000, or fraction thereof, to and include $25,000

Valuation of $25,001 to $50,000: $391.25 for the first $25,000 plus $7.00 for each additional $1,000, or fraction thereof, to and include $50,000

Valuation of $50,001 to $100,000: $643.75 for the first $50,000 plus $7.00 for each additional $1,000, or fraction thereof, to and include $100,000

Valuation of $100,001 to $500,000: $993.75 for the first $100,000 plus $5.60 for each additional $1,000, or fraction thereof, to and include $500,000

Valuation of $500,001 to $1,000,000: $3,233.75 for the first $500,000 plus $4.75 for each additional $1,000, or fraction thereof, to and include $1,000,000

The City of Floresville may require the applicant to verify the declared valuation.

An additional permit fee shall be required for plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work in the amount of $100.00 per each trade applicable.

Inspection Fees

Inspections outside of normal business hours: $47.00/hour with minimum 2 hours

Re-inspection fees assessed under the International Building Code: $47.00/hour

Inspections for which no fee is specifically indicated: $47.00/hour with minimum 2 hours

Additional plan review required by changes, additions, or revisions to approved plans: $47.00/hour with minimum 2 hours

Valuation of $501,000 to $1,000,000: $1,100.00
Valuation of $1,001,000 to $3,000,000: $1,600.00
Valuation of $3,001,000 to $6,000,000: $2,400.00
Valuation of $6,001,000 and up: $2,400.00 plus $0.25 for each additional $1,000

Fire Code Plan Inspection Services (Fire Alarm & Sprinkler System)

Valuation of up to $250,000: $750.00
Valuation of $251,000 to $500,000: $1,050.00
Valuation of $501,000 to $1,000,000: $1,350.00
Valuation of $1,001,000 to $3,000,000: $1,900.00
Valuation of $3,001,000 to $6,000,000: $2,850.00
Valuation of $6,001,000 and up: $2,850.00 plus $0.25 for each additional $1,000

Food & Safety Inspection

Peddler’s permit (payable at time of issuance): $25.00
Food safety and health: $200.00/year
Temporary food and safety permit: $125.00

Amusement Devices & Business Fees

Business owner, manager, or lessee of premises on which a skill or pleasure coins operated or slot machine is made available to other shall be required to secure a permit for each machine at such location by paying to City.

New permit (at time of application, per machine): $500.00
Renewal permit (annually, per machine): $500.00

Recreational Vehicle Parking Fees

15 or fewer spaces: $35.00 per space
16 to 30 spaces: $45.00 per space
More than 30 spaces: $55.00 per space
Transfer of license: $500.00

Subdivision Plan Review Fees

Major Subdivision Plats

Single Family: $425.00 + $75.00/lot
Non-Single Family: $425.00 + $475.00/lot

Minor Subdivision Plats

0 – 3 acres: $400.00
3.01 – 10 acres: $600.00
10.01 – 20 acres: $875.00
Greater than 20 acres: $1,400.00 + $200.00 per acre over 20

Additional Fees

Amending plats: $525.00
Filing fee: $300.00
Application (non-refundable): $25.00
