In accordance with the Open Records Act, private citizens are entitled to receive reports generated by law enforcement. The following reports are available:

Copy of Police Report: $4.00
Copy of Police Crash Report: Crash Records Information System (C.R.I.S.)
Certified Copy of any Police Report: $8.00
Additional Copies: $1.00
Notary Public Services: $10.00

Except for a crash report, requests for all other reports must be submitted via Request for Public Information. All reports can take up to five working days, from the date of the request, to be generated. Reports containing information on any juvenile and reports that pertain to an open case or an ongoing investigation are not subject to release and will, therefore, not be released. Requests for reports can be made in any of the following ways:

    The Floresville Police Department is under no obligation to create a document to satisfy any request or to comply with a standing request for information. The information will be released only in accordance with the Public Information Act, which may require a determination as to confidentiality by the Texas General Attorney General prior to a release. The Floresville Police Department has ten business days in which to request such a determination.
